Very few musicians can say their craft has drawn personal interest from guitar master Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society) but that is exactly what happened to the riff-centric Dana Bradshaw. Dana’s cover of “Sleeping Dog” was hand picked by Wylde as a winner in a national contest organized by Guitar Center which led to Dana being flown to Hollywood where Wylde presented him with a new Wylde Audio “Flying V” electric guitar.
With a personal sound best described as heavy southern rock with a twist of blues, Dana is preparing to hunker down and record new music within the walls of Paul Raymond Records in Lapeer, Michigan. Those tracks will show off Dana’s penchant for catchy guitar riffs as well as pay homage to his musical influences like Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhodes and Eric Clapton. Upon release, the new music will be available for streaming and purchase from popular platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Dana’s official website.
Dana’s passion for music has been a life-long pursuit. In addition to playing with several bands throughout the years, he has performed all over the eastern United States, including shows in Michigan, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio. He has studied with master classical guitarist Michael Lorimer (PBS’s The Artistry of Michael Lorimer) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Michigan.
